No One Hurt In Early-Morning Quarry Fire
WAITE PARK -- Nobody was hurt in a fire at a granite-crushing company in Waite Park this morning but the cause has yet to be determined.
The Waite Park Fire Department says the fire started at Martin Marietta at 1450 Division Street shortly before 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
The business was not open at the time and reports say no employees were there when the fire started.
The Waite Park Fire Department was assisted by a St. Cloud hazmat team as well as several area fire departments to get the fire under control at about 5:00 a.m. this morning.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal Division is assisting with the investigation into the cause of the blaze.
