DULUTH, Minn. (AP) - A canopy at the historic Greysolon Plaza in downtown Duluth has collapsed.

Duluth Assistant Fire Chief Clint Reff says the collapse happened Saturday evening without warning. No one was injured.

Reports say that a lobby security attendant had just gone outside for a cigarette moments before the collapse. Morgan Sudduth says he heard a rumble, but didn't realize what happened until afterward.

Some people attending a wedding reception on the second floor said it felt like an earthquake that shook the building.

The Greysolon Plaza opened in 1925 as the Hotel Duluth.

It now contains businesses and apartments. Weddings and other events are hosted on its lower floors.
