Former Cathedral hockey standout Austin Poganski has been named a "Player To Watch" as a potential future NHL draft pick by the league's Central Scouting Agency. Poganski currently plays for the USHL's Tri-City Storm in Nebraska.

Poganski has notched four goals in eight games this season for the Storm as a 17 year old first year player. He also helped the United States to a gold medal at last week's US Junior A Challenge.

Committed to North Dakota for the 2014-15 season, Poganski is rated as a "B" prospect by the NHLCSA, meaning they project him as a potential second or third round draft pick.
