News @ Noon: St. Cloud NAACP Hosting Annual MLK Banquet [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - The 32nd annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Junior Freedom Fund Banquet is at the St. Cloud River's Edge Convention Center on Sunday.

Communications Manager Mable Fale says the local chapter of the NAACP has been in town since 1983, and the community has changed a lot over the years.

Fale says they're focused on expanding their initiatives with District 742.

She says it's especially important for young people to be reminded of the struggles their ancestors went through...

About 250 people are expected to attend the banquet on Sunday.
