ST. CLOUD - A local non profit organization is keeping the memory of a St. Cloud boy alive. "Halen's Hankies Of Hope" was formed in 2013 by Melanie Tank. Her son, Halen Hirsch, was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 13-years old. He passed away in April of 2012.

Organization President Jana Frerichs says they sell their hankies on their website.

Purchase one to have one donated to a child that's currently getting treatments for cancer. We have a list of things that you can use them for, we include that with the hankies. So they can use it to dry their own tears, or the tears of somebody else while they're there.

Frerichs says they also raise money with garage sales and meat raffles.

The organization helps families who are facing financial hardships, due to a childhood cancer diagnosis.
