BLOOMINGTON - A new exhibit featuring one of the most influential bands ever has opened at the Mall of America. "Ladies and Gentlemen - The Beatles" is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of their appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show.

Co-Owner of the Midwest Music Museum Joe O'Brien says the exhibit tracks the band's success - featuring John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr - from their start in Liverpool in 1960 to their concert at the old Met Stadium in Bloomington...

O'Brien says the exhibit includes the recreation of a teenage girl's bedroom in the 1960's, with Beatles music playing in the background. You can also take a drum lesson from Ringo.

The exhibit is open at MOA from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. seven days a week through September 7th.

An exhibit featuring the Rolling Stones will open this fall.
