ST. CLOUD -- The final building of the Fifth Avenue Live! project officially has a new tenant.

Epromos, a New York City-based promotional merchandising supplier, will soon move into the Davidson Opera House in downtown St. Cloud.

Brian Schoenborn owns the building, location at 113 Fifth Avenue South, and has been renovating the space for the last five years. He says its nice to bring a piece of history back to the downtown.

"We're really pleased with how it's come together. To have the ability to honor the past and remember the history and the people that made a difference there but also preparing the building for another 100 years of contributions to our community," says Schoenborn.

The Davidson Opera House was built as a theater in 1897 before being turned into office space during the 1980s.

Epromos will lease the newly renovated building and plans to create about 40 new jobs.

Schoenborn says a lot of work and time has been put into the first phase of the project, and he is happy to have this chapter come to an end.

"So that block is finally completed, restored and so we are excited to move forward to other things we are working on and complete the rest of the west side of Fifth Avenue," says Schoenborn.

Epromos opened its St. Cloud branch, along Clearwater Road, in 2011. They plan to officially open in mid-December.
