COLLEGEVILLE - A new athletic field at St. John's University will be named in honor of their legendary football coach.

Gagliardi Field will be next to the soccer venus. The multi-purpose sports facility will feature artificial turf and a seasonal dome.

John Gagliardi is college football's all-time wins leader. He coached at St. John's for 60 seasons from 1953 to 2012, during that span he won a record 489 games and four national titles.
