SARTELL - With classes starting right around the corner, new Sartell-St. Stephen School District Superintendent Jeff Schwiebert is getting ready for a busy school year.

Schwiebert officially became superintendent on July 1st and says he's prepared for classes to start.

Schwiebert says one focus he has for the upcoming school year will be hands-on workplace learning in the high school.

The hands-on learning hopes to better prepare students with technical skills for the workplace.

Schwiebert also emphasized the importance of athletics and after-school activities in the district.

Schwiebert most recently served as Superintendent of North Scott Community School District in Eldridge, Iowa.
