New Metro Bus Executive Director Starts Next Month

ST. CLOUD - The new Metro Bus Executive Director is set to start his job next month.

Ryan Daniel's first day on the job is August 19th.  He signed a five-year contract, which includes an annual base salary of just over $96,000.

Daniel was the Manager of Bus Service for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in Washington, D.C.

Daniel replaces David Tripp, who retired from Metro Bus in April, after 33 years with the organization.

St. Cloud Metro Bus operates seven days a week, and provides more than 2.4 million fixed route and Dial-A-Ride passenger trips every year in St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, and Waite Park.
