New, Local Antique Shop More Passion than Business for Owner [AUDIO]

SAUK RAPIDS - Sauk Rapids has seen a number of small shops and boutiques come to life recently, and one of these is antique shop BuyGones.

It's an endeavor borne of hobby, as owner Roger Haller has been collecting antiques for over 30 years.

He says, while he makes his actual living selling real estate, the Victorian Home he operates his business in seemed like the perfect shopfront to display and sell his wide collection of antique housewares, artwork, books and jewelry.

Haller says he's not interested in profit, and wants a trip to BuyGones to be an enjoyable experience.

You can drop by to browse most Saturdays from 10:30 a.m.-5:00 pm, by chance on Sunday afternoons, or by appointment at 1-320-267-8066.

BuyGones is located on 2nd Avenue South in Sauk Rapids, across from Coborn's.
