FOLEY -- Plans for a new business in Foley were finalized this week at its city council meeting.

Silt Sock, Inc., a Wisconsin-based company that manufactures erosion control products, will build a 60-thousand square-foot facility at 333 Bronder Drive on the southwest edge of Foley.

Silt Sock co-owner Jason Alderink says they plan to break ground on the facility in early April with construction expected to be finished in early August.

Alderink estimates the company will bring about 15 new jobs to the area and they'll start the application process sometime in July.
