New Brewery Planning to Open in St. Cloud [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - A new brewery is looking to open in St. Cloud.

The Lupine Brewing Company wants to open a tap room at 3310 Third Street North, which used to be home to O'Hara's Brewpub and Restaurant.

The restaurant and brewing space in the area is separated, Lupine Brewing would only use the brewery space.

James Anderle is the owner of Lupine Brewing and says he feels its a great time to open a tap room with the increasing popularity of craft beers.

Anderle says they were attracted to the site because it already had a brewing system in place.

Lupine Brewing is already making beer and is focusing on keg distribution to local restaurants.

The brewery is waiting for a recommendation from the city planning commission to move forward with the new location.
