MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A popular Twin Cities pianist known for performing in theaters and auditoriums has upset some of her neighbors by hosting recital parties at her home.

Residents near Lorie Line's home on Lake Minnetonka have complained to Orono city leaders about the extra traffic in the streets and the lack of regulation. The controversy has prompted officials in the affluent suburb to review how it regulates private events.

Line and her husband, Tim, who have lived in Orono for nearly 30 years, say the grievances are overblown and that their house is not being turned into a concert hall. Lorie Line says it's "the most stupid thing I've ever heard."

The Lines currently are on tour in the Dakotas, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota.
