UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for much of central Minnesota.  It will be in effect from late Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.

Snow will develop after 9:00 p.m. Saturday, and change to sleet and freezing rain after 3:00 a.m. Sunday.    Snowfall totals of 2 to 5 inches possible north of a line from Morris to St. Cloud.  Ice totals of about two-tenths possible.

The storm will bring a mixed bag of precipitation, with significant snowfall and ice accumulations possible across portions of the area.

The Twin Cities metro could see a period of freezing rain and sleet late tonight into Sunday morning, but should see temperatures warm and any remaining precipitation change to rain by late Sunday morning.
