St. CLOUD -Ask ANY cat owner - cats stubbornly march to the beats of their own drums.

One woman has developed a system for training her felines to do all types of tricks on command and turned it into a full-scale nationally-touring performance.

Samantha Martin's "Amazing Acro-cats" are one of only four performing cat acts nationwide, and they'll be on stage at the Atwood Memorial Center at St. Cloud State University all weekend.

Martin's cats walk tight ropes, balance on rubber balls, ride skateboards, and even ring bells on command.

Martin is an expert on feline behavior, devoting a lot of time to public outreach in helping people better understand their animals.

Martin is a major advocate for adoption, and all of the cats featured in the show are rescue animals from around the United States.

They're on stage tonight (Thursday) at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 1:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for kids.
