UNDATED - It's National Depression Screening Day, a 24 hour educational campaign to stress that no one should live with depression.

Depression is an illness that affects millions of Americans every day. It leaves sufferers sad, anxious and tired, and can lead to problems like insomnia or appetite loss.

With this in mind, nonprofit organization Screening for Mental Health is advocating being tested for the treatable illness.

They suggest taking this day to evaluate yourself - if you're concerned you could be suffering from depression, visit them online to learn more. There, you'll find a list of screening clinics in the St. Cloud area.

In 2011, National Depression Screening Day drew more than 100,000 participants. It's part of Mental Illness Awareness Week nationwide.
