Myra “Mike” Schnettler, 91, Sartell

Myra "Mike" Schnettler passed away peacefully March 3, 2017. Myra was born December 3, 1925 to Art and Evelyn (Gruber) Medeck. She graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1943. She married Robert M Schnettler on September 21, 1948 at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud.

They traveled together often, one road trip at a time, and saw the entre country. Mike was a purveyor of the finer things in life like fresh flowers and supper clubs. She was an avid reader who loved Friday night happy hours with her adult children and afternoon bowling. She was a member of a bridge group that met once a week for decades. A devoted night owl, Mike loved her family and supported them throughout her life.

Myra is survived by her children, Gayle Swoboda of Plymouth, Jim of St. Cloud, Robbie (Ken) Plombon of Rice; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and son, Mark “Rocky.”
