Murder Suspect to Fight Extradition to North Dakota
ST. CLOUD -- The suspect in the murder of his wife in their Fargo apartment is fighting his return to North Dakota.
KFGO Radio in Fargo says 49-year-old Henry Deniger will remain in the Stearns County Jail in St. Cloud until Minnesota receives a Governor's Warrant from North Dakota. The extradition process could take up to 60 days.
KFGO says a prosecutor says a judge will likely be asked to set bail for Deniger near $1-million.
Deniger is accused in the stabbing death of 52-year-old Kathye Deniger.
Her body was found in the couple's south Fargo apartment last Tuesday. Police say she'd been stabbed multiple times.
