MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Police say the three children of a Minnesota woman accused of killing her boyfriend and placing his body in a freezer have been found safe.

South Lake Minnetonka police say the children have been placed in protective custody in Hennepin County. The children are ages 10, 8 and 7. Authorities did not say where the children were found.

Their mother, Jetaun Wheeler, made her first court appearance Tuesday when bond was set at $2 million. The family of the victim, 58-year old Eddie Sole, attended the court appearance in Minneapolis. Sole's daughter, Kecha Matthews, says she never wants Wheeler to see the "light of day" again.

Prosecutors say Wheeler killed Sole with a closet rod, wrapped his body in plastic and duct tape and put him in a large freezer in their garage.
