FARIBAULT, Minn. (AP) - A movie ticket stub may have helped Rice County law enforcement solve a burglary.

Authorities found the stub after a June 16 break-in at a rural home, where about $3,000 worth of tools were taken.

Court documents say police checked surveillance footage from an Owatonna movie theater and allegedly saw Paul Goetze buying tickets at the time the stub had been printed.

Investigators checked for pawn activity and found Goetze had allegedly pawned two saws and a hammer in Richfield on June 18.

The 48-year-old Minneapolis man was charged Monday morning with second-degree burglary. He later allegedly identified as an accomplice 43-year-old Darren Lawrence Voracek, of Medford, who faces the same charge.

Messages left for the men's attorneys were not immediately returned Friday
