Motorcyclist Hurt in Collision With Deer

ROCKFORD - A Kingston man was hurt in a motorcycle crash. The Minnesota State Patrol says it happened at about 5:45 a.m. Thursday on Highway 55 west of Rockford in Wright County.

Fifty-five-year-old James Nielson was heading east when he struck a deer.

Nielson was taken to Buffalo Hospital with minor head injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet.
