Motorcyclist Hurt, Bear Killed in Collision

PINE CITY (AP) - A motorcyclist was injured and a black bear was killed when the two collided on an interstate in Pine County.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 48-year-old Edmund Hanson of Brook Park was northbound on I-35 when he hit the bear Friday. He was airlifted to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. The patrol says his injuries aren't life threatening.
