ALBANY - A motorcycle driver was hurt when he rear-ended a tractor pulling a silage box. The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says it happened at about 4:20 p.m. yesterday (Sunday) on County Road 10 in Albany Township.

A tractor pulling a silage box was driven by 47-year-old Ervin Hartung of Paynesville. A motorcycle driven by 78-year-old Warren Krupke of Upsala.

Both were going south. The tractor began to make a left turn onto St. Anna Drive, at the same time the motorcycle was going to attempt to pass, and it struck the rear of the silage box.

Krupke was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Hartung was not hurt.
