Mother and Child Ok After One Vehicle Crash Near Paynesville

PAYNESVILLE -- A mother and child will be fine after being taken to the hospital following a one vehicle crash this morning (Wednesday).

The incident happened just before 11:00 a.m. at 20440 County Road 130 in Zion Township, just north of Paynesville.

27-year-old Sara Lahr was heading south on County Road 130 when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a field approach.

Lahr was taken to Paynesville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Her son and passenger, 18-month-old Alexander Lahr, was not hurt, but taken to the hospital with his mother.

Police say the roadway had a large amount of snow and ice from the high winds early this morning which is believed to cause the accident.
