Morrison County Conducts Sex Offender Compliance Checks

LITTLE FALLS — A recent check of the sex offenders living in Morrison County shows that 108 of the 109 predatory offenders are in compliance with registration laws.

One offender, Nathan Hoffman failed to register with the county and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Sheriff Michel Wetzel says his office plans to make more frequent compliance checks in the future. Level II sex offenders will checked twice per year. level III offenders will be checked quarterly.
