The Twins won a back and forth game with Philadelphia 3-2 at Target Field on Tuesday night. Justin Morneau's single with runners on the corners and two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning got the Twins the win.

PJ Walters continued to pitch well for Minnesota, pitching 7.1 innings and allowing only a single earned run. Walters did not factor in the decision.

Morneau finished the game 3-4 with two RBI to improve his batting average to .297 on the season.

The Twins will host the Phillies again Wednesday night at Target Field.
