Twins' first baseman Justin Morneau saw a specialist Tuesday to take a look at his sore left wrist.  An MRI showed no structural damage just some fluid and inflammation.  Morneau is expected to rejoin the team in Anaheim today and could return to the lineup as early as Friday night when the Twins play at Seattle.

The Twins called up catcher Drew Butera from triple-A Rochester to add some depth at catcher with Joe Mauer nursing a sore knee.  Mauer was the designated hitter Tuesday night and could play first base tonight.  He isn't able to catch yet.  Ryan Doumit and Butera are the options at catcher right now.  To make room for Butera on the active roster the Twins designated for assignment 3rd baseman Sean Burroughs.  Burroughs was hitting .117.  He was 2-17 at the plate.
