MORA -- A Mora man is seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash yesterday (Saturday) morning.

The incident happened shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Highway 65 in Mora just north of 253rd Avenue.

The state patrol says 53-year-old Steven Porter of Mora was riding northbound on Highway 65 on his motorcycle, waited to turn west onto a private driveway and was rear-ended by 24-year-old Joshua Anderson of Cambridge.

After striking the motorcycle, Anderson entered the southbound lanes and sideswiped another car driven by 63-year-old Linda Hunt of Aitkin. Hunt did swerve to try to avoid hitting Anderson.

Porter was taken to North Memorial Hospital with serious injuries, no one else was injured in the crash.
