Moorhead Man Taken to Hospital After Semi Crash

SAUK CENTRE -- A Moorhead was hurt in a crash involving a semi today (Sunday).

The incident happened shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Interstate 94 near Sauk Centre.

The state patrol says 91-year-old Verdie Ellingson was driving west when he crossed the centerline and sideswiped a semi driven by 54-year-old Akhunzhan Khamzakhunov of Richmond Hill, Ontario.

Ellingson was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
