Moon Dogs Rout Rox 9-3

The Mankato Moon Dogs beat the St. Cloud Rox 9-3 in St. Cloud Sunday.

Mankato scored 5 runs in the 4th inning to break the game wide open.  Mark Rhine went 3-4 with a run scored and Andy Henkemeyer was 2-5 with 2 RBIs and Jamie Simpson and Chris Paul had 2 hits for St. Cloud.  Keaton Siomkin allowed 8 hits and 5 earned runs in 3 1/3 innings to take the loss.

St. Cloud is 8-22 and will host Duluth in a doubleheader tonight at 6:05, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35.

The two teams will play 2 7-innings games tonight to make up for one of the rain outs in Duluth on June 22-23.
