HAWICK -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation is holding another open house to give residents a chance to learn about the Highway 23 expansion project between New London and Paynesville.

The open house will be held at the Roseville Township Hall in Hawick from 4:00-6:00 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday).

You'll be able to learn about the environmental review findings, view the preferred alignment and ask questions of MnDOT staff. There won't be a any formal presentation.

Currently, all but 15 miles of Highway 23 between Willmar and I-94 are four lanes. One of those gaps is the stretch between New London and Paynesville.

The project is part of the Corridors of Commerce program established by the Legislature in 2013 to promote economic growth through improved freight hauling efficiency.
