MN Take-A-Kid Fishing Weekend On Tap Next Month
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Minnesotans who don’t have fishing licenses can still catch a break next month as long as they’re accompanying a child age 15 or younger.
The state’s annual Take-A-Kid Fishing weekend is June 10-12. The aim is to encourage adults and kids to share an angling experience on the state’s thousands of waterways.

An annual resident fishing license costs $17 and is valid through April 2012.
