MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A 10-year old Bloomington girl who disappeared in south Minneapolis has been found safe in a hospital emergency room.

Namo Abdinur Ahmed disappeared around 10 a.m. Sunday. Police say she got out of a car with her mother and siblings and was walking ahead of them to their religion classes. Shortly after that, they discovered she had not made it to class.

Sgt. William Palmer says officers spent hours going door to door and spreading the word in the Somali community.

Palmer says police got a call just before 6 p.m. from Children's Hospital of Minneapolis after Namo walked into the emergency room there.

He says there's no indication of foul play but investigators will be following up to determine where she was and what she did during the day.
