Miriam Wegwerth, age 64, of Princeton passed away at home on Friday, July 29, 2016. Miriam was born on October 3, 1951 in St. Paul, the daughter of Ervin and Florence (Oehlke) Springstroh. She grew up in Maplewood and graduated from St. Croix Lutheran High School. It was in high school where she met her husband to be, Stephen Wegwerth. The two were married on August 16, 1969 at Zion Lutheran Church in St. Paul. The couple lived in various cities before buying their first home in Stacy, MN in 1975. They also lived in Osakis and Isanti before moving to Princeton. The couple has resided here for the last 27 years. Miriam worked at Gracepointe Crossing in Cambridge, formerly known as Grandview. She developed many close relationships with the residents she cared for there and their families. Miriam had a heart for all animals; she especially cherished her Jersey cows. In her spare time she also loved riding motorcycle, camping, farming, gardening and was a phenomenal cook and baker.

Miriam will be dearly missed by her husband Stephen; children Wyatt (Mary) Wegwerth and Melissa (Jody) Sewall; father Erv Springstroh; siblings, Richard Springstroh, Eunice (George) Jurgenson and Paul (Jeanne) Springstroh; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and their families and friends.

Miriam was preceded in death by her mother Florence Springstroh, sister Naomi Mahtani and nephews Todd Springstroh and Kenny Englert.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.
