Minnetonka Police: Abducted Woman Back Home, Suspect On Run

MINNETONKA  (AP) _ Police in Minnetonka say a woman who was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend is safe and back home.

37-year-old Nicole Smith ``returned to her family'' Saturday night. Police announced it on the City of Minnetonka Twitter page. Additional details weren't immediately released.

Smith went missing Thursday afternoon. Police say witnesses saw 37-year-old Jahon Douglas abduct Smith at gunpoint outside her workplace. Douglas hadn't been found as of Saturday night.

Police say they still consider him to be armed and dangerous.

Minnetonka Capt. Shelley Petersen says police are ``happy Nicole is home'' and that now the ``continued focus'' is on finding the ex-boyfriend.
