Minnetonka Middle School Student Charged With Making Threats
EXCELSIOR (AP) - A seventh-grader at Minnetonka Middle School West in Excelsior is facing a felony charge of making terroristic threats.
The principal sent out an email Thursday saying the parent of a fellow student told officials that the 13-year-old Shorewood boy was threatening her child and had a list of students he wanted to kill.
Authorities say the boy was arrested Tuesday and charged with making terroristic threats, a felony, as well as a misdemeanor charge of fifth-degree assault.
The school says the boy will not be in class Monday.
The incident remains under investigation.
