You can be Minnesota's Biggest Loser. The popular tv show is the model for a weight loss competition called the "Biggest Loser Minnesota Challenge." It's sponsored by a handful Minnesota companies in a partnership with the Alliance for a healthier Minnesota. Registration began on Wednesday. Anyone can participate, either individually or by organizing a team. Rick Kupchella is one of the founders of the Alliance for a Healthier Minnesota, and he says there are a lot of perks for participants.

Competitors will record their activity online, earning points for things like lost weight, time exercising and healthy eating habits. The contest ends on April 15th, at which time winners will be selected.
