ST. CLOUD - The Twins Winter Caravan stopped by St. Cloud at the Rivers Edge Convention Center on Thursday night, giving fans a chance to get autographs and meet players from the team.

Twins pitchers Kyle Gibson and Caleb Thielbar were at the event, along with Twins legend Tony Oliva, and radio voice of the Twins Cory Provus.

Oliva has been attending Winter Caravan events for years, he says he's getting ready to mentor many of the teams younger players during spring training.

"We have young players who need a little help to get comfortable to the role of being in the  big leagues," Oliva says.

Gibson and Thielbar are both new to the Twins, making their debut last year. Both players appreciate the chance to travel around the state and meet Twins fans in the area.

"I love winter caravan, I really hope I can play in the league for 15 years and be up here for a while," Gibson says.
