MANKATO (AP) — Minnesota State's hockey team is ranked No. 1 in two national polls after a weekend sweep of Lake Superior State.

The Mavericks rose to the top of the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine College Hockey Poll after being ranked fourth last week.

Minnesota State is also atop in the Division 1 men's poll released Monday by USCHO.com. The Mavericks were rated fourth in that poll last week.
