ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - Time is running out for those who want to show off their talents at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair.

The deadline to register for auditions for the fair's amateur talent contest is July 27 at 4 p.m.

Participants can register online at www.mnstatefair.org . Entry forms also may be returned by mail.

Auditions run July 27 through Aug. 2 at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell on the fairgrounds. Auditions begin at 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Semifinalists will be selected from auditions to perform during the first 10 days of this year's Great Minnesota Get-Together at 6 p.m. on the Leinie Lodge Bandshell stage.

Winners from the semifinals will compete in the finals Sept. 6 at the Grandstand. Nearly $10,000 in prize money will be awarded.
