HASTINGS, Minn. (AP) - A former Inver Grove Heights man has been sentenced to nine years in prison after authorities found almost 400 pounds of marijuana in his home three years ago.

Forty-five-year-old Scott Bradley Cunningham was sentenced Tuesday after pleading guilty in September to first-degree drug possession, a felony.

A co-defendant, 55-year-old Brian Lee Speldrick, pleaded guilty the same day to fifth-degree possession, also a felony. Speldrick was sentenced to two years of probation.

Reports say charges against the two women in the case were dismissed last year for lack of evidence.

The total street value of the marijuana seized in November 2011 was estimated at more than $1 million. The Dakota County Attorney's office says seven guns also were seized during the execution of search warrants.
