MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - A Twin Cities man who swindled dozens of people in his car business will serve up to 100 days in jail over 10 years.

Zachary Moore pleaded guilty to felony theft by swindle of more than $35,000 this week in Hennepin County court. He will serve 10 days in jail during each year of his 10-year probation under his plea deal, or until he pays about $200,000 in restitution to victims. He will be released from probation as soon as he repays everyone.

Prosecutors say Moore required full payments upfront for cars and repairs at his Civics Reborn offices in Minneapolis, Brooklyn Park, Lexington and Isanti County. They say he wouldn't deliver the car and told customers he would pay them back with money from a future sale.
