ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - A Minnesota man is charged with fatally shooting his wife while her children were home.

Thirty-one-year-old Larry Todd Tennin was charged Monday with second-degree murder in the death of 41-year-old April Tennin.

Tennin, who is also known as Todd Larry Tennin, is accused of shooting his wife at the couple's Maplewood town house on Aug 23 after an argument. He was arrested earlier this month in the Chicago area.

Reports say April Tennin's 16-year-old daughter found her mother's body and called 911, according to the complaint. A medical examiner's report showed that she died of a gunshot wound to the head.

The complaint alleges that Larry Tennin had a history of lashing out at April Tennin and her children.

Tennin is awaiting extradition from Illinois.
