RICHMOND -- Minnesota Homegrown Kicks off Friday in Richmond. The three day music festival at El Rancho Manana Campground & Riding Stables features 20 bands including Copper Creek, Bill and Kate Isles, No Grass Limit, Blue Yodel #9 and more.

Musical genres range from bluegrass, old-time string band and other acoustic styles. The first band takes the stage at 6:00 p.m. Friday, noon on Saturday and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday.

Weekend tickets are $45 for nonmembers and includes camping. Teens are $5 and kids 12 and under are free.
