RED WING, Minn. (AP) - A Minnesota trash hauler has been fined after an employee unloaded garbage on a customer's driveway.

The Red Wing City Council says Paul's Industrial Garage was cited Monday night for "dumping almost two tons of wet, putrescible waste." Officials say it was in retaliation for an unpaid bill.

The company faces a $1,800 fine and $735 reimbursement fee for cleanup costs. The city also plans to issue a misdemeanor citation to the driver and misdemeanor tickets for unlawful dumping and public nuisance to the manager of Paul's Industrial Garage.

A local official says several neighbors called the police after witnessing the employee dump the waste on June 20.
