Minneapolis Pub Crawl Sets Zombie Record
ST. PAUL (AP) -- The annual Zombie Pub Crawl in Minneapolis has set a Guinness world record.
A reported 15,458 people dressed as the undead Saturday night for "the largest gathering of people dressed as zombies."
The Zombie Pub Crawl set a similar record at St. Paul's Midway Stadium in 2012 with 8,027 zombies gathered.
That year's event drew a total of more than 30,000 people to the Warehouse District event.
Founded in 2005, the annual event has grown into a dual-city zombie invasion, while inspiring similar gatherings around the country.
The event included closed-off streets for multiple outdoor stages, food trucks and entertainment.
