MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Federal authorities have charged a Minneapolis man with threatening FBI agents after the arrest this week of another Minnesota man on charges that he conspired to help the Islamic State group.

The criminal complaint alleges that 19-year-old Khaalid Adam Abdulkadir posted the threat on his Twitter account following the arrest of his friend, 20-year-old Abdirizak Mohamed Warsame, of Eagan, on Wednesday. The FBI says its agents arrested Abdulkadir on Friday morning.

The complaint says Abdulkadir posted two separate tweets containing threats. One included the words "kill them FBI."

A magistrate judge ordered Abdulkadir held without bail pending his next hearing on Wednesday. He'll be represented by a federal defender.

Afterward, a woman who identified herself as his mother but would not give her name declined to comment on the case.
