ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) – Police have arrested a 54-year-old Minneapolis man in the death of a woman whose body was found wrapped in a sheet near railroad tracks in St. Louis Park.

Authorities identify the victim as 46-year-old Nerissa Annette Shaw of Minneapolis. Her body was found Tuesday behind a building in a wooded area.

After identifying the victim, police were able to determine that she was involved in what authorities describe as a long and violent relationship with the suspect.

St. Louis Park police arrested the man without incident Wednesday.

The man remains in custody. The case is expected to be presented to Hennepin County prosecutors in the new few days.
