CAMP RIPLEY -- A $15,000 grant will go towards improving the Minnesota Military Museum on Camp Ripley.

Veterans 4 Veterans board of directors approved the grant in hopes to increase museum awareness within the veterans community.

Over the next three years the money will go to fund new exhibits and projects that will showcase the history of Minnesota veterans.

The museum opened in 1976 to mark the Bicentennial of the country. The new attractions will focus in on the history of the veterans from the Civil War to now.

They hope to improve their advertising and networking. The museum is free to attend and open to the public.
